Pervert!
Directed by Jonathon Yudis

Pervert is basically everything you would expect it to be from the title alone. On one hand it is a tribute to the days of old when nudity and bloodshed were cinematic staples and comedy was a key ingredient. Think Russ Meyer meets Frank Hennonlotter. This is a quirky and skin filled flick that manages to be fun and at the same time packs a few surprises along the way. You wont guess the killer in this one, Id almost guarantee
it.
James, a man who has more than a thirst for skin, spends the summer with his father who has both a taste for the good book and also a good fuck. Staying with them is Cheryl, a blonde temptress who very rarely has her clothes on. Through constant teasing and flirting it isnt long before Cheryl and James are giving into their carnal urges to comedic effect usually right in from of his father who is typically none the wiser.
What begins as a sex comedy romp begins to show its bloody side quite early. The father is crafting a sculpture of a woman out of meat while at the same time people begin to be killed in gruesome ways. The obvious suspect is of course the father but as the story progresses things turn out quite different than you may have originally thought. The plot is of course ridiculous but youll be laughing the entire way through. When the killer is revealed you will be on the floor in stitches.
For a movie that is somewhat tongue in cheek the acting is quite solid. The cast obviously has fun with the movie and you dont have to worry about things getting overly dramatic. This is mainly just innuendo and low brow humor but at the same time the script is well
written and unlike a lot of films that aim to be funny and fail, this film definitely succeeds.
Pervert! is definitely a movie that you need to see and experience first hand. If you are a fan of skin soaked, blood drenched movies that dont skimp on the comedic elements this is definitely a movie to check out. Throw in quite a few bonus features and this is a DVD that is hard to pass up on.
