M-audio Fast track with pro tools audio interface to a behringer mixer to the pc?
I just bought myself a behringer mixer from guitar center and also the m-audio fast track audio interface thinking that i could connect the mixer to the interface cuz i'm recording drums. Is it possible to connect the mixer to the interface cuz from what i've heard, it's known for the guitar and mix input to record the guitar and a mic. So i'm just wondering if there's a way for me to connect the mixer to the interface to the PC so i can record my drums. what kind of wires do i Need?

Ok, you have purchased two pieces of equipment and I'm not at all certain that they are compatible for what you intend to do with them. My understanding from your question is that you intend to to plug the Behringer Xenyx1002B (Mixer) into the M-Audio Fast-Track (USB Computer Interface) for the purpose of recording drums. So, when faced with a problem like this, you need to match up the output specifications of the Mixer to the input specification of the USB Computer Interface. Here are the Owner's manuals for each of these products so that you can determine that for yourself.

If you do not know enough about electronics to be able to do that, I suggest you contact the customer service people at M-audio first to see if they would approve of your connecting that Mixer to the Fast-Track.
