Alesis DM10 Pro Kit: Introduction
Traffic & Sales :: Video Marketing with the Alesis USB Mic Kit
Hi! My name is Ettione Stuckey. I am an internet marketer, web developer and education specialist, and I have worked on high profile projects from some highly regarded companies such as Cisco, AT&T, Bell South, and Scientific Atlanta. In marketing, one of the biggest questions I get is, What is the best way to drive traffic and sales to my website? The answer..
The answer is video marketing. Why video marketing?
The reason I prefer video marketing is because for the small home business owner, it's easy and it's free. People love videos. In fact, over 60% of the traffic on the web right now is video traffic. You get an unlimited supply of traffic and leads to your websites simply by using video marketing. Creating these videos is super easy...
In fact, you can create a professional-looking video using free programs that came with your computer. Shooting your video can be done with something as simple as flip video, a webcam, a camcorder. As a matter of fact, you don't even need a camera. You can create your videos using simple presentation software like PowerPoint or Presenter. You can record voice-overs using a simple computer microphone or a great alternative that I highly recommend is the Alesis USB Microphone/Podcasting Kit. It can be found on Amazon for $99.00. It consists of great sounding headphones and a handsome, sturdy professional microphone that's truly exceptional for its price range. It's a great package that performs well and that will enable you to create high quality professional videos that attract both attention and traffic to your website. This ultimately results in increased sales and profits for you from your products and services, for just under $100.00.

Frequently Asked Questions...
Alesis DM5 Pro Electronic Drum Kit with Fl Studio Sound Bank?
What I am trying to do is use my Alesis DM5 kit to trigger samples on FL Studio so I can use this live. Essentially what I want to do is assign a sample to each drum pad so that it will play once hit as a normal drum sound normally would.
Could anyone possibly explain how I would do this simply or give me a relevant walk through guide?
I am using midi cables and a Tascam US122 to connect this kit to my laptop via MIDI cables.
Answer:
Don't know enough about the DM5 to really answer that question. I'm pretty sure the DM5 would need to have midi controller capabilities to do what you are talking about. This is not the same as being midi compatible. A midi controller lets you map any midi channel to a specific input on the module. So for instance you would need to be able to go into the Alesis and say assign midi channel 6 to the first input of the DM5. That way when you hit a trigger that is physically connected to the first input of the DM5, it will pass that signal through the DM5 to the assigned midi channel. So instead of playing the sound on the DM5 it plays the sound on FL studios. I really don’t think the DM5 is capable of this but I could be wrong.
