Frequently Asked Questions...
Which drum set is better (ludwig vs. pearl)?
I'm looking into buying my first drum set and I've narrowed it down to these two. They're both $600, and I'm considering them because everything you need is included. I've heard good things about Zildjian, and I don't want to spend another few hundred dollars on buying hardware and cymbals separately. Most of the other drum sets I've looked at don't include hardware or cymbals, however, these do.

Pearl: http://drums-percussion.musiciansfriend.com/product/Pearl-Sound-Check-5Piece-Drum-Set-with-Zildjian-Cymbals?sku=584082
I don't know a lot about drums. So far, the only reason why I'm leaning towards the Ludwig is because it comes with a throne. Any advice or opinions about these two sets?
Answer:
*whispers* listin carefully, im going to say this once and only once. *talks normal* Both of those kits suck. if you want to play drums, you got to be willing to spend money. Nothing is wrong with buying a drum second hand. thats what i did, and i got it for $300. Super sick kit. it also depends on what your wanting to play, so i suggest doing your reasearch first *Gasp* yes i know, im so mean. *laughs* because it all comes down to what you want, though pearl is a super nice company, you have to DO YOUR REASEARCH! now i hope i helped. i hope you find a nice set and become famous. *bows* have a nice day. *skips away*
