Frequently Asked Questions...
How much would an 18" medium-thin, crash/ride Zildjian A series cymbal normally cost?
I was at my local music store today, and I believe I saw a Zildjian A series crash for $80. I'm not quite sure if it was an "A" series (Avedis was on the cymbal). I know for sure that it was a crash/ride and just needed to know whether or not it was a good cymbal for the price.
I am planning to combine the crash with a Paiste PST 5 cymbal pack (14" hats, 16" crash, 20" ride). Would buying a Sabian B8 or Zildjian ZBT Pro be any different?
Thanks
Answer:
Any of the A Series cymbals are usually great (with cymbals you gotta Hit 'EM and see how they sound with the rest of your setup) and they are certainly a higher quality cymbal than the ZBT or B8.
Hope this helps!
Good luck
