What you are experimenting is the harmonic of that same note which is blending with the open string B.
Simply put, change the string and that WILL solve your problem. Often, you can get a 1rst & 2nd string that are defective which accounts why Ernie ball include an extra first string sometimes.
In your case, the string is bouncing off the fret creating an harmonic as if done on purpose with the finger:)
The trem has nothing to do with it but rather, its the string that has imperfections in the metal.
